HELP! I need somebody!

Not just anybody... You know I need someone...

iTunes/iPod syncing help?

So, recently I got a new laptop and figured I'd download iTunes to it so that I could add some new music to my iPod. HOWEVER, I noticed that whenever I would try to sync my iPod to this iTunes, it wasn't actually syncing. (I had downloaded old music onto my iPod through another computer before, so I diagnosed this as the problem.

So so so so so so so so, I looked on Google to try and figure out how I could transfer the  old music from my iPod to this new iTunes. I found out how to do this! SCORE.

HOWEVER, the new music that I added onto my iTunes will not sync onto my iPod. I'm still having the same old problem.

Can anyone help me?! I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks guys!

Have You Heard?

People have apparently been saying that Paul McCartney died in a horrific car accident back in November of 1966... What?

So, I was reading about this whole fiasco and then decided to look to Paul McCartney himself to make my own informed decision about this stupid conspiracy.

I have come to the conclusion that this stupid rumor is exactly that: a rumor. After the first few people began speculating, the Beatles more than likely got a kick out of the whole thing, and decided to go with it. I mean, honestly, regardless of their constant denial of his death, people are gonna think what they're gonna think, and they're going to continue to hunt for clues that will prove you wrong, so why should they have tried?

Of course Paul McCartney finds his supposed "death" comical. When asked about it in interviews, he laughs and says that the cover of Abbey Road wasn't meant to be foreboding or hinting at anything.. He was wearing sandals and just didn't want to wear them for the photo. Nothing big here, people.

Anyways, PAUL IS ALIVE AND WELL. I have to admit, I was a little scared for a second because I am a huge Beatles fan and this whole thing is a very scary thought... but I mean, come on. How would there even be someone who looked, talked, and sang exactly like Paul McCartney in the world? Even plastic surgery couldn't make an exact replica, freckles, scars and all.

After researching, I just wanted to share that little tidbit with you guys. Interesting stuff.

EPIPHANY

So, you've heard the old saying, "We always want what we can't have" I'm assuming. Well, I've had an epiphany tonight, and it came to be from something I read in an article while browsing zee interwebs. (Here's the site if you're interested, it's about men though, so if you're a man I wouldn't suggest venturing there: http://www.anewmode.com/dating-relationships/guy-doesnt-text-back/)

This is what I realized:

"We always want what we can't have" is not necessarily the truth. Or rather, it is the truth, but I now have an explanation for it. As the website says, we value only what we have to work for.

Regarding relationships, this especially makes sense. If a guy or girl is "playing hard to get", causing us to work towards getting them (awkward phrasing... you know what I mean. I hope), we are more likely to want them even MORE, mainly because they're making us work towards them. It's like in life. We greater appreciate the things that we have to work to get, rather than those that are simply handed to us.

This is most definitely not to say that a guy or girl should play hard to get all the time. Your true Prince (or Princess) Charming is not going to make you wait around forever, this I believe. BUT, everyone loves a good chase. Right?

All over, we (truly) value what we have to work for. It's then that we will really appreciate what we have, and while this is not always true, it explains that stupid saying that you're always hearing but never understanding.

Make sense? I hope so.

Thank you guys for listening, whoever you are.

Let Yourself Fly

“I have come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it. Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you're going, but you know that so long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you.”

Inspiration!

Let me just say, there are some fantastic celebrity role models out there.

Specifically, Zooey Deschanel. She's freaking inspirational. If you don't know who she is, who are you? Look her up!

Here's some awesome quotes I found that I really like by her:

"It's an addiction. I love clothes. I like to go down Melrose and look in all the windows, and I go to different flea markets. I have lots of costumes. You never know when you're gonna have to dress up like a milkmaid from the 1600s."

"You can't expect to make no effort. You still have to make the effort and be kind and understanding."

"I grew up believing that my sister was from the planet Neptune and had been sent down to earth to kill me."

"Always the aim for me is making people feel like they are not alone. That's just the greatest feeling."

"I just sort of follow my bliss, so to speak, and then I see where that takes me."

"I'm always trying to do stuff I haven't done before or challenge myself so I'm not resting on my laurels of all the time, because if I just found my little niche and never left it, I'd be pretty boring, I think."

How cool is she.
Anyways, if you STILL haven't clicked on a new tab to see who Zooey Deschanel is, have no fear, Zoe is here. I have compiled a list of popular movies that she's been in that you are more than likely to recognize. Here goes:

Elf (2003)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)
Failure to Launch (2006)
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
The Happening (2008)
Yes Man (2008)
(500) Days of Summer (2009)

Here Comes the Sun

And I say it's all right.

I feel like I was born in the wrong decade. The 60s and 70s are where it's at, and I wasn't born for 20 years after that.

I was gypped.
